STRICTLY COME DANCING’S Amy Dowden and Karim Zeroual have been wowing the judges and viewers at home since day one with their spectacular performances in the dancing competition.
Strictly Come Dancing’s highest scoring performers Amy and Kareem could have scored a 40 if judge Craig Revel Horwood gave them a ten last weekend. The pro dancer revealed that despite the judges positive comments, Craig “will always find something” on Strictly’s sister show, It Takes two.
CBBC’s Karim and pro dancer Amy have been delivering star-studded performances since day one of the BBC show.
Last week, the pair came on top of the leaderboard and scored a combined total of 39.
All the judges gave them a ten except Craig who’s only ever given a ten in series 15 to Debbie McGee in Blackpool.
However, despite their high scores and astonishing performances, Amy reckons that Craig will find something to pick.
The couple appeared on Strictly’s sister show, It Takes Two this week to dish the latest gossip on their performance.
Host Rylan Clark-Neal read out some of the judges comments which were all great except Craig’s.
“Craig called it totally stunning but he didn’t give you a ten. Why?,” he asked the pair.
Not too surprised, Amy responded: “Thats ok. Craig will find anything.”
The couple earned their highest score last week with their Quickstep routine which secured them another week.
For all of their performances, they have scored above 30 except for their Paso Doble and Samba.
Most importantly, the couple have made no secret of that fact that they work hard and enjoy the routines to maintain such great scores.
Will their Viennese Waltz match up to last week’s performance?
With a bit of a dip in their scores last week, this was a huge jump.
“I just really enjoyed dancing it and just the style of the performance. We just loved it,” Karim explained.
He further commented on the dance: “It was the best one we’ve done of that Quickstep I feel.”
Despite not scoring a ten from Craig, the judges loved it as much as Strictly fans and viewers.
Head judge Shirley Ballas enthusiastically said: “That is one of the best Quicksteps I’ve seen.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli said: “You’ve brought us a touch of innovation and timeless elegance.”
“That was the best dance ever,” judge Motsi Mabuse opined.
He may not have given them a ten but Craig said it was “totally stunning.”
Fans will have to watch tonight’s episode to see if Amy and kareem can deliver another spectacular performance.
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 6.50pm on BBC One.
