STRICTLY COME DANCING’S Kelvin Fletcher took to the dance floor and performed an energetic Salsa for his chance to make it through to Blackpool. Despite receiving praise from the judges, viewers were outraged over the scores he received and thought he deserved a higher mark.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left fuming after the judges revealed their score for Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse’s Salsa. Craig Revel Horwood gave the pair an eight, while Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli each gave them a nine. However fans watching the performance weren’t happy with the score and thought Kelvin’s performance deserved better.

One said: “Fantastic! Way underscored, how did AJ and Saffron get 10’s and Oti and Kelvin 9’s and 8’s? #Strictly #Strictlyspoiler.”

“And I’m sorry but NO WAY was Michelle’s performance better than Kelvin’s yet she gets higher marks?? FAVOURITISM #Strictly,” another added.

“I’m sorry but why is Kelvin not getting 10’s for that please explain #Strictly,” a third wrote.

“#Strictly Kelvin and Oti 8,9,9,9 after Saffron and AJ 9,10,10,10 were the judges facing the dance floor for Kelvin and Oti,” a fourth said.

“An EIGHT?! For Kelvin’s performance??? Are you joking?? #Strictly,” another said.

Another added: “Is it just me who thinks Kelvin & Oti were under marked? I feel like they’ve been marked very hardly ever since the first week actually. For Craig to give an 8 to that is just beyond me. I have no idea if the viewers are watching same thing as the judges nowadays #Strictly.”

Following the judges marks, Kelvin found himself third on the leaderboard but it’s up to the judges to make sure he doesn’t leave the competition.

As fans slam the judges for their marking, could Kelvin find himself in a vulnerable position tomorrow night?

After his performance, Shirley remarked: “It was almost perfect for me, there was one or two little timing, you had to rush a little bit or you go a little bit behind.”

“Generally, overall a totally enjoyable performance,” she added.

Bruno added: “There was a slight, slight issue on timing but it was minuscule you’re a great performer, fantastic.”

Craig simply commented: “Hiptastic darling hiptastic.”

Earlier in the show, Karim Zeroual was left in tears after receiving criticism from the judges for his Viennese Waltz.

Critiquing his performance, Craig said: “You must be a bit disappointed actually I know because two rather large mistakes.”

“Apart from the mistakes, there was too much rise and fall,” he continued. “It was very bumpy, I felt like you were doing chassis instead.”

As he waited for his scores with Claudia, the Strictly host remarked: “You looked quite emotional getting those comments.”

Comforting her partner, Amy said: “I could see you were about to cry.”

Karim confirmed: “That was a hard one, I’m gutted it went wrong.”

“No it happens,” Claudia said. “And you said to me earlier it was your least favourite dance.”

“It was a tough one,” Karim admitted before wiping his eyes and adding: “Sorry, I don’t know why I’m getting upset.”
