Jamie Vardy moved one goal ahead of Tammy Abraham in the Premier League Golden Boot race on Saturday.

The Leicester star netted in their 2-0 win against Arsenal, his 11th of the season.

That strike moved Vardy one ahead of Chelsea’s Abraham, who scored in the Blues’ 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace.

Abraham has more goal contributions than any player in the league after he fired the Blues in front early into the second half with a side-footed finish before Christian Pulisic scored a second.

Harry Kane was in action for Tottenham against Sheffield United at 3pm, however, the England international failed to score in their 1-1 draw.

On Sunday, Sergio Aguero will hope to score his first ever goal at Anfield when Liverpool and Manchester City lock horns in the most anticipated fixture of the season so far.

The Argentine, who won the Golden Boot in 2014-15, has seven goals in the Premier League against Liverpool, all of which have come on home soil.

Raheem Sterling also seeks a first goal at Anfield since he swapped Liverpool for City in the summer of 2015, having netted against his former club for the first time in the Community Shield in August.

Liverpool duo Sadio Mane, whose name has dominated the build-up to the clash after City manager Pep Guardiola accused him of diving, and Mohamed Salah will hope to build on their tallies of six and five goals respectively.

Earlier in the day, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial will view the visit of Brighton to Old Trafford as an opportunity to improve their records with Neal Maupay the chief threat for the visitors.

At the same time, Wolves – and Raul Jimenez – face Aston Villa, who will hope Wesley can score his first goals since October 5 in a West Midlands derby at Molineux.
