Episode 10 was called No One Can Stop Me but ironically, the instalment saw Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) at his most vulnerable.

The final moments of Power season six, episode 10 saw James St Patrick, aka Ghost, fall from a balcony at his nightclub after being shot.

In true Power fashion, exactly who pulled the trigger was not revealed to viewers.

Unfortunately, Power fans will have to wait until January 2020 for the final five episodes of Power to return, so it will be a while before the pressing question are answered.

Several suspects could be behind the attack, as Ghost had managed to gain several enemies in the lead up to the midseason finale.

Tommy (Joseph Sikora), Saxe (Shane Johnson), Dre (Rotimi Akinosho), Paz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Tate (Larenz Tate) and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr)  all had serious grudges against Ghost as there is no doubt that one of them would have wanted him dead.

Speaking to TV Line showrunner Courtney Kemp explained that the last five episodes of Power are inspired by Rashomon, a 1950s Jidaigeki film directed by Akira Kurosawa.

Rashomon’s plot follows four different characters who provide an alternative, contradictory and self-serving versions of the same incident.

The remaining four episodes should eventually reveal who shot Ghost, but the reveal will not come easily.

Whether Ghost even survived the attack remains unknown but showrunner Courtney Kemp teased that he may still be alive.

Speaking to TV Line, Kemp said: “He got shot. I didn’t see him die. Did you see him die?”

Paz was last seen in the episode packing a bag with a gun before heading to an unknown location. Could she have been going to Ghost’s nightclub?

Kemp teased that Paz may be the main suspect for now.

Power fans will know that Paz’s sister, Angela (Lela Loren) was killed earlier on the season so, so he may be out to take revenge.

She said: “So let’s talk about who really has a reason to kill Jamie St. Patrick.

“Who are the people who might feel some type of way about all the things that he’s done and all the things that are indicated by his run for office.

“So if your kid sister fell in love with somebody that you literally 45 times said, ‘Stay away from. Stay away from him. Hey, you know who you should stay away from? That guy. And you know why you should stay away from him? Because you’re gonna get dead.’ And then she showed up dead?

“Would you feel some type of way about that. Potentially, you might be like, ‘I am not down with the fact that my sister is not here anymore’.”

She added: “I also really wanted to put Paz in the forefront, to some extent, to let people in on the fact that we are quite serious about the fact that a gun has no gender. It has no race. It does not care.

“A gun is here for what it is here for. It is a weapon of destruction.”

If it was not Paz who pulled the trigger, another major suspect is Ghost’s son Tariq.

Throughout season six, Tariq and Ghost have made numerous threats about killing each other, so did Tariq step up and finally take action?

One fan shared their theory on Twitter after watching the episode.

They wrote: “So ghost killed his daddy whose name is breeze and Tariq decides to do ghost the same way #PowerTv.”

A third suspect is Tasha (Naturi Naughton), who seems increasingly desperate to take down her ex-husband Ghost.

In episode nine of Power, Tasha told the police that Ghost had killed her lover Terry Silver (Brandon Victor Dixon).

If Ghost was to find out Tasha went to the police, he may take revenge by killing her so perhaps Tasha got to Ghost first.

Dre and Saxe are also keys suspects in the shooting, as they both have a vendetta against Ghost.

For now, Ghost’s main enemy Tommy seems is the least likely of them all to have pulled the trigger on Ghost.

Tommy has had many opportunities to take Ghost’s life, particularly when they were talking in the warehouse, so something is holding him back but what?
