MEGHAN MARKLE has attended several public engagements since returning to the UK from South Africa last month. This is when The Duchess of Sussex will next be out in public.
Meghan Markle, 38, fans were delighted to get almost daily doses of the Duchess of Sussex when she and Prince Harry toured Africa in September. Since returning to the UK the Meghan has stepped out for several public engagements and will make her next appearance today.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will take a six-week break from royal duty later this month after the couple spoke out about struggling in the royal spotlight.
Before their holiday, when they are expected to travel to the US to visit Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have several important royal engagements.
When will we next see Meghan Markle?
Meghan Markle will step out for a special Remembrance Day event in central London on Thursday.
She and Prince Harry will the visit 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Camilla is patron of the Poppy Factory and will accompany the royals to the moving event to remember British servicemen.
The special remembrance site at the heart of London has tens of thousands of poppies on wooden crosses.
Meghan, Harry and Camilla will add their own tributes to the sea of poppies before observing the Last Post and a two minutes silence.
Meghan’s attendance at the event will be a first, while Prince Harry has visited the site on seven previous occasions.
The Sussexes have two other remembrance engagements lined up this week including a special event at the Royal Albert Hall with Queen Elizabeth II and other senior royals.
On Sunday they will join Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Camilla, Prince Charles and the Queen at the Cenotaph for the annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony.
There Prince Charles, 70, will lay a wreath on behalf of the Queen who will watch the proceedings from a nearby balcony.
Meghan Markle has stunned in striking outfits at recent royal engagements and fans will no doubt be excited to see what she wears out this week.
While black is the traditional colour of choice for remembrance events, the Duchess could choose to add a splash of colour to her outfit.
At Meghan’s first solo engagement since the South Africa trip, she wore a deep royal purple dress which sent fans into a frenzy.
Last year at Remembrance Sunday she teamed a smart navy dress with simple black heels and a beret-shaped blue hat.
One thing Meghan will wear for certain is a red poppy pin to honour the occasion.
Last year Kate, Duchess of Cambridge opted for an emerald green dress coat and wore a black velvet alice band instead of a hat.
Saturday’s family gathering will be the first time Meghan and Harry come face to face with Wills and Kate in public since Harry claimed he and William were “on different paths.”
Harry addressed rumours of a rift between him and William in a behind the scenes documentary made during his and Meghan’s time in Africa.
He told ITV journalist Tom Bradby: “We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him and as I know he’ll always be there for me.
He added: ”We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy but I love him dearly.
“The majority of the stuff is created out of nothing but as brothers, it’s just as I said, you have good days, you have bad days.”
