ATP FINALS DRAW AS IT HAPPENED

Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will meet in the round-robin stages of the ATP Finals after being drawn in the same group.

It will be a repeat of the dramatic Wimbledon final, won by Djokovic in July in five sets and they have been put with Dominic Thiem and Matteo Berrettini in group Bjorn Borg.

In group Andre Agassi, top seed Rafael Nadal faces a rematch of the US Open final against Daniil Medvedev.

Nadal and Medvedev are with defending champion Alexander Zverev and Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Thanks for joining us. It took a while but we finally got there. The ATP Finals get underway on November 10 and Express Sport will bring full coverage of the event!

The schedule is yet to be released but Nadal will be hoping he starts on Monday to give himself some extra time to recover.

Some mouthwatering ties coming up. Nadal vs Medvedev is a rematch of the US Open final. Djokovic vs Federer is a rematch of the Wimbledon final.

That was short and sweet but we finally know who will play who in the ATP Finals.

Back in 2017, the draw was meant to be done by Boris Becker on Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.

But Becker got stuck in traffic on his way to the studios in London which led to a 45-minute delay.

30 minutes late now. Not the best organisation by the ATP. But this isn’t the first time there have been delays to the draw.

Still no still of this draw. One thing we do know is that Alexander Zverev is in attendance.

A curious fact about the draw is that all eight singles players are from Europe. That has never happened before.

These events never run on time but stick with us. It will be getting underway shortly.

These are the top eight seeds for the draw.

1) Rafael Nadal

2) Novak Djokovic

3) Roger Federer

4) Daniil Medvedev

5) Dominic Thiem

6) Stefanos Tsitsipas

7) Alexander Zverev

8) Matteo Berrettini

The build-up to the draw has been dominated by worries over Rafael Nadal’s health. The Spaniard was awaiting the results of scan on an abdominal injury.

And this morning it was revealed he had suffered a right abdominal muscle strain. But Nadal intends to fly to London and practise on Thursday to determine whether he can play.

After 64 tournaments in 31 countries on four Surfaces, eight players will battle to win the ATP Finals.

Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the draw for the season-ending ATP Finals.
