Lyon chief insists striker Moussa Dembele will remain at the club amid links to Manchester United

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has ruled out Manchester United target Moussa Dembele leaving the club this summer.

Lyon have already sold Nabil Fekir to Real Betis, Tanguy Ndombele to Tottenham and Ferland Mendy to Real Madrid.

Aulas told RMC: ‘He will be with us this season. There will be no other departures.

‘There is no kind of uncertainty, we have not foreseen that this organisation and Moussa is not himself, as far as I know.

‘Potential offers if there are, and I have not had any directly, Moussa will be with us for all this season at least.

‘It is part of OL’s success and growth plan, Juninho and Sylvinho count on it and he will be present all season.’

Dembele had an ordinary start to his Ligue 1 career as he scored 15 goals and delivered three assists in 33 league games last season.

Dembele scored 25 goals in 53 Scottish Premiership appearances before completing a £19.7million move to the Ligue 1 outfit.
