PRINCESS BEATRICE, 30, is rumoured to be walking down the aisle with her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi some time soon. The pair are yet to confirm an engagement, but they’ve been inseparable in recent months. So how did they meet?

Last year, royal fans watched Princess Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie, 29, walk down the aisle. And it sounds like the royal family could be hearing more wedding bells pretty soon, with Princess Beatrice tipped to be next. There is much speculation that Beatrice is ready to tie the knot with her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Bookmakers have even suspended betting on whether the couple will get engaged soon as the royal’s friends reportedly said it “won’t be long” until an announcement. Princess Beatrice appeared to drop a subtle hint they could be preparing for a royal wedding. According to the Mail on Sunday, Beatrice has begun following Meghan Markle’s vegan pre-wedding diet.

Katie Nicholl, a royal correspondent for Vanity Fair and author of Harry Life Loss and Love, reported a friend as saying: “They are very happy and in love. Sources predict that an engagement may not be far off.”

Bea’s relationship with the Italian property tycoon, 36, first came to light in March when they were snapped together in a cab leaving London celebrity haunt Annabel’s.

They are understood to have spent a night on the town with Bea’s mum Sarah Ferguson.

It’s believed the couple had been dating for several months beforehand.

The Princess and Mr Mozzi met years before they became romantically involved, as Edo’s step-father Christopher Shale was a close friend of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew.

Princess Beatrice attended Mr Shale’s funeral following his sudden death from a heart attack at the Glastonbury music festival in 2011.

Edo is also said to have attended Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding last year.

One source told Daily Mail columnist Richard Eden: “People were saying that it won’t be long before Bea does the same.”

Royal sources say the couple have now moved in together and could tie the knot just months after Eugenie and Jack.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is an Italian businessman and a friend of Princess Beatrice’s family.

The multi-millionaire established his real estate firm Banda 12 years ago in 2007 and has served as CEO since then.

The organisation builds homes under the philosophy to “design for living”, and delivers lavish homes for wealthy clients.

Edoardo also established the charity Cricket Builds Hope (CBH) following his stepfather’s death.

Mr Mozzi built his charity on the roots of Christopher Shale’s Rwanda Cricket Stadium Foundation, which founded the country’s first grass cricket ground.
