Last minute Tosic brace helps Guangzhou R&F draw with Shanghai SIPG

BEIJING, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) — Serbian defender Dusko Tosic scored in the last minute to help Guangzhou R&F tie with Shanghai SIPG 2-2 in the 23rd round Chinese Super League (CSL) matches on Friday.

Xiao Zhi scored in the 60th minute to break the deadlock for Guangzhou, and Shanghai equalized only three minutes later through a penalty kick. Hu Jinghang scored his first goal in Shanghai SIPG in the 77th minute to help the team regain the lead, and Tosic’s goal grabbed one point for Guangzhou in the 98th minute.

Shanghai SIPG got four consecutive league draws after this game.

Promoted Dalian Yifang tied with Jiangsu Suning 2-2 on Friday night. Sun Bo scored in the seventh minute to help Dalian lead the game, but Brazilian striker Alex Teixeira equalized for Jiangsu in the 21st minute.

After four minutes, Li Jianbin netted to help Dalian lead again, and Italian striker Eder equalized again for Jiangsu four minutes later.

Elsewhere, Henan Jianye beat Beijing Renhe 2-1 at home.
