Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler has congratulated her on her engagement to Kris Boyson – and he couldn’t be happier for her.
The 32-year-old, who split from Katie last year, said that he ‘wishes them well’, despite being still legally married to the mum-of-five.
Speaking to The Sun, Kieran said: ‘Congratulations to them both, I wish them well.’
Katie revealed on Loose Women yesterday (25 July) that she was engaged to her current partner, personal trainer Kris Boyson, as she proudly showed off her sparkly new engagement ring to the panel.
‘Kris bought the ring for that finger, so there you go, I’ve got love in my life,’ she gushed.
The 41-year-old later revealed that although she and Kieran are not in a relationship anymore, they ‘get on so well’.
‘The banter we have, we get on so well. We’ve got two children together,’ she said.
‘It’s so nice when you get on with your ex when you’ve got children.’
The former glamour model called it quits on her marriage with Kieran after he was involved in a series of affairs with other women.
As well as cheating on Katie with two of her closest pals, Kieran had embarked on an affair with the pair’s nanny, Nikki Brown.
He is now in a relationship with Michelle Pentecost, a fellow parent to children who attend the same primary school as his and Katie’s kids Jett, five, and Bunny, four.
And although the two are no longer together, they are still legally married, and have yet to divorce.
Katie is no stranger to marriage – as well as tying the knot with Kieran in 2013, the star was previously married to singer Peter Andre between 2004-2009, and mixed martial artist fighter Alex Reid from 2010-2011.
