It’s about time there was a bit of passion in Harriet Finch’s (Katherine Dow Blyton) life and her future looks set to be full of it when her ex Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) appears back in Emmerdale and she gives in to her feelings.
Harriet is in for a nice surprise when Will returns to the village – she outwardly shows she’s glad he’s back for Dawn (Olivia Bromley) but inwardly is pleased for herself. The whole coffin crushing incident is well in the past now and she’s ready to move forward.
Will wants to make amends with Dawn, especially with what she’s been through recently with her son, but his hope for the future comes crashing down when Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) gives him the sack.
While Will is wallowing in his loss, Dawn picks up on sparks between him and Harriet – there is still something there and she intends to help things along.
She offers to cook dinner for Will, but secretly has plans to push the two together. Meanwhile, Harriet pleads with Cain to give Will his job back. She wants to make sure he’ll be sticking around.
As Harriet and Will come back together for Dawn’s dinner, the sparks fly all over the shop and, unable to resist temptation any longer, they share a passionate kiss. Is this the start of something beautiful for these two?
