BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) — Cultural Investment Holdings was announced on Friday as the official cultural event planning and management sponsor of the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing.
Han Zirong, vice president and secretary general of Beijing 2022, praised Cultural Investment Holdings for its participation in the visual effects production for Beijing’s eight-minute handover show at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, and for staging Beijing 2022’s 1000-day countdown celebrations in May this year.
Zhou Maofei, managing director of Cultural Investment Holdings, assured Beijing 2022 organizers that the firm would leave no stone unturned in assuring the quality of Beijing 2022’s cultural offerings in the lead-up to the Games.
Since February 2017, a total of nine companies have signed on as official partners of Beijing 2022, including Bank of China, Air China and sportswear firm ANTA. Additionally, four more companies have agreed to become tier-two official sponsors, including Tsingtao and Yanjing, who have been named the Games’ official beers.
