Bale to China?
Gareth Bale is edging closer to a move to the Chinese Super League.
Jiangsu Suning have offered a staggering three-year deal worth £19m-a-year which would make Bale the best paid player in the world.
Beijing Guoan also made an approach and were willing to pay Bale £1m-a-week but have been outbid their Chinese rivals.
The 30-year-old has been told he can go and Zinedine Zidane has frozen him out of the side.
According to MARCA, Bale could complete the move to Jiangsu Suning this weekend after accepting he has no future at Madrid.
Henderson to Sheffield United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted with Manchester United’s latest piece of transfer business.
A lot has been said about the goalkeeping situation at Old Trafford amid David De Gea’s failure to put pen to paper on a contract extension.
Dean Henderson, 22, has emerged as a potential challenger to De Gea for the No.1 jersey but he will spend the season away from Manchester United.
Henderson has returned to Sheffield United on loan after helping the Blades to Premier League promotion last term.
The promising shot-stopper signed a new three-year contract before departing to Bramall Lane for the campaign.
And Solskjaer believes United will benefit from Henderson playing a season of Premier League football.
“Dean had a fantastic season at Sheffield United and has a big future ahead of him so I am delighted that he has signed this contract,” he said.
“He is another top-level talent that has come through the academy to continue the proud tradition of producing players capable of playing in the first team.
“We have great faith in Dean’s ability; he has huge potential and his spirit and passion will stand him in good stead this year.
“We wish Dean the best of luck with his loan move.
“The opportunity to play a full season of Premier League football is perfect for his development.”
Arsenal eye six summer signings?
Arsenal are confident of completing three more signings before the transfer window slams shut.
There have been three new arrivals at the Emirates Stadium this summer – Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba – and Unai Emery hopes to take the total to six.
According to The Independent, Arsenal are quietly optimistic about deals for Celtic ace Kieran Tierney and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
The Gunners are looking for a further unnamed player.
Pepe to Arsenal or Liverpool?
Arsenal and Liverpool have agreed deals for Nicolas Pepe, according to L’Equipe.
The Premier League duo are willing to pay £72m in principle for the Ivory Coast international.
Serie A sides Inter Milan and Napoli have agreed similar terms with Lille.
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are reportedly also interested but are yet to launch bids.
Man Utd done deal
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has signed a new three-year contract before heading out on loan to Sheffield United.
Henderson spent last term with the Blades, keeping the most clean sheets in the Championship to help the team to promotion.
He said: “The club has been amazing in designing an individual pathway to aid my development which will enable me to reach my potential and perform at the highest level possible. Signing this contract is such a proud moment for myself and my family; I’ve worked so hard to reach this point and I want to do everything I can to repay the faith the club has shown in me.
“I am looking forward to being back at Bramall Lane, the opportunity to be reunited with the coaches and play in front of the amazing fans again is one that I am relishing. I cannot wait to enjoy a full season of Premier League football which I know will be hugely beneficial for my career.”
Dybala to Tottenham?
Tottenham target Paulo Dybala has no plans to leave Juventus, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Argentina international will reportedly hold talks with Old Lady boss Maurizio Sarri in the coming days.
Dybala intends to inform Sarri that he is committed to the club’s new direction.
Tottenham have reportedly had a £45m bid rejected.
